Krames StayWell Was Featured Speaker at NACHRI on Using E-Mail Marketing to Reach Parents

Evanston, IL, March 1, 2008 – Custom print and online health publisher Krames StayWell (KSW), was a featured speaker at the spring National Association of Children’s Hospitals and Related Institutions (NACHRI) 2008 Creating Connections Conference that took place March 16-19 in Miami.

The presentation entitled "You’ve Got E-Mail! Targeted Program Reaches Parents Where They Live Online" was delivered by Krames StayWell Senior Director, Jason Pagels, and Amy McLarty, Marketing Communications Manager at Children’s Medical Center Dallas, an KSW client.

The vast number of parents online has fueled the importance for healthcare marketers to reach them where they “live”. In fact, parents are clogging the Internet super highway. Some 45 million American parents – 70% of those with children under 18 living at home – use the Internet*.

With that in mind, Krames StayWell shared an overview of the parents market, and explained how moms (the family’s chief health officer) want their information delivered. Children’s Medical Center Dallas described how they have worked with KSW on an e-mail component of a broad online program to successfully reach parents.
