Krames StayWell Moves to New Evanston Location

EVANSTON, IL, January 28, 2009 – Custom print and online health communications company Krames StayWell (KSW), a division of MediMedia USA, has announced that its Evanston location will kick-off the first quarter by moving to a newly designed office in order to accommodate growth.

The new office not only offers opportunity for growth, it also facilitates closer collaboration between employees with an open floor plan. The new space was carefully designed and constructed to foster communication between the editorial, design, account management, sales and marketing teams that are based in Evanston, IL. Featuring open work stations and multiple common areas for group meetings, the floor plan reflects the latest approaches to work space design in order to encourage creative approaches to the development of custom print and online solutions, including consumer health publications, web portals and e-newsletters, for KSW’s clients. These clients include hospitals and health systems, health plans, retail pharmacies and employers nationwide.

Located just a few blocks from KSW’s current office, the new space, at 909 Davis St., will be home to the majority of KSW’s management team and staff.

“We’re thrilled that our new Evanston office will provide an environment that elevates team collaboration and strategic thinking to a whole new level,” said Krames StayWell president and CEO Trent Sterling. “This new space will enable us to continue our delivery of leading-edge print and online health information solutions to our clients.”

About Krames StayWell:

Krames StayWell was established in 2006 by the merger of two leading custom publishers (Health Ink Communications and Health Newsletters Direct, both founded in 1984). Since then KSW also acquired the online content libraries of Greystone.net, a respected internet strategy and consulting firm devoted to the hospital market.

In addition to custom print solutions, KSW provides clients with electronic solutions, including comprehensive web portals, online health libraries, and multimedia tools. The company serves hundreds of clients representing several channels in the healthcare industry: hospitals and systems, health plans and retail pharmacies.

KSW is a member of the StayWell family of companies, which includes Krames, StayWell Health Management, StayWell Consumer Health Publishing (A Harvard Medical School Strategic Alliance), Vitality Communications, StayWell Productions and The Red Cross Strategic Business Alliance. StayWell, which is a division of MediMedia USA, represents the largest patient education and consumer health information publisher in North America.

MediMedia is a publishing and information company which educates physicians and patients about drugs, diseases, therapies, health, safety and healthy lifestyles and is managed through two distinct business segments: the Patient Education Group and the Pharmaceutical Group.

The Patient Education Group provides patient education content sponsored by the full set of healthcare stakeholders, including employers, hospitals, health plans, physicians, patients and pharmaceutical companies. Customers purchase patient education products and services from MediMedia because these products and services help them lower healthcare costs.
The Pharmaceutical Group provides content and application-based marketing solutions for pharmaceutical companies, spanning their entire marketing continuum during a drug’s lifecycle, which are targeted to physicians, payers and patients. Customers purchase pharmaceutical products and services from MediMedia because these products and services help them drive drug prescriptions.

MediMedia is a Vestar Capital Partners portfolio company.
